Motorsport Games has announced that all 10 of its NASCAR games are set to be delisted at the end of the year.
This gives gamers limited time to get its NASCAR titles across all available platforms, with many available at a discount until their delisting.
Motorsport Games has been a developer and publisher of NASCAR games since 2018, when it obtained the license. In the years since, it has admittedly been a mixed bag of quality.
The studio hasn’t been clear of controversy, either – last year, a Motorsport Games employee threatened to leak source code over a wage dispute, which was a dramatic turn of events. That said, it hasn’t all been doom and gloom – NASCAR Heat 5, the most recent mainline entry in the series, currently has “Very Positive” reviews on Steam, so it’s clear that the company is capable of putting out a solid NASCAR product.
Fans are intrigued by a recent teaser from Fortnite about a potential NASCAR collab to coincide with the upcoming Globals tournament.
In a statement on X, Motorsport Games confirmed that all its NASCAR games and their DLC will be delisted after December 31, 2024. Players can still purchase the games until then, and will still be able to play them after this date as long as they have them on their account. It seems this will affect a total of 10 games across the Heat, Rivals, and Ignition subseries. However, it isn’t clear whether this will affect things like the recent Forza Motorsport NASCAR collaboration. The same can be said of NASCAR Arcade Rush, the 2023 title of which Motorsport Games had no involvement.
To the NASCAR game community!

From 2025, the NASCAR video game series will enter a brand-new era. Last year, iRacing purchased the NASCAR video game license, and it’s believed that the first game of this new era, NASCAR 25, will be released next year. With iRacing, NASCAR will find a natural fit, given it currently develops one of the most realistic racing games ever.
