The Gold Coast Titans will be monitoring Daniel Suluka-Fifita’s return from injury this Good Friday when the Bulldogs prop runs out onto Accor Stadium.
Josh Hannay needs to stiffen up his middle, and the Courier Mail is reporting Suluka-Fifita is on the Titans wishlist.
After debuting for the Sydney Roosters in the NRL in 2020, the damaging prop moved to South Sydney, cross-town rivals, two years later.
The Bulldogs then signed him while he was undergoing ACL rehabilitation in 2024.
Coming through the Roosters pathways as a junior prodigy, he adds aggression and bends the line at will when he is fit and firing.
If the clubs strike are able to strike a deal, he may leave the Bulldogs before June 30 for a new opportunity and more minutes.
With prop Jaimin Jolliffe succumbing to a knee injury in the preseason, ruling him out for the entire 2026 season, Hannay will be looking to get an enforcer into his side as soon as possible.
It gets worse for their forward depth with Tukimihia Simpkins being sidelined with an MCL injury, sustaining it in QLD Cup last week.
He is set to be sidelined for six to eight weeks before he can return to the NRL.
Suluka-Fifita stands at 192cm and 112kg, making him a nightmare to tackle for opposition forwards.
The powerhouse front rower will make a return to the NRL side as the Bulldogs look to get their season back on track after a disjointed performance against the Newcastle Knights last week.
