Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens was fined for grabbing the facemask of Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Cam Taylor-Britt during the fourth quarter of last Saturday’s 19-17 loss. The fine amounted to $37,611, marking the largest fine Pickens has received this year.
Pickens leads the team in both fines and total amount fined, with nearly $179,000 in penalties so far, and this fine brings his total to ten fines for the year. His infractions include three for unnecessary roughness, particularly facemask violations, three for taunting, and two for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Last season, Pickens was fined $200,000 by both the NFL and the Steelers, though the extent of any private fines remains unclear. With the Steelers now heading into the playoffs for a crucial game against the Baltimore Ravens, Pickens’ fines continue to accumulate.
