Upper Deck, a renowned company specializing in sports collectibles, has entered into a multi-year NIL deal with University of Pittsburgh quarterback Kedon Slovis. This agreement grants Upper Deck exclusive rights to produce memorabilia and collectibles featuring Slovis.
Known for its focus on major league sports, Upper Deck’s website showcases autographed items and footballs from legendary athletes like Tom Brady, Michael Jordan, and Wayne Gretzky, in addition to a variety of sports trading cards.
Slovis’ collection on the site includes autographed footballs, helmets, and a signed photograph that commemorates the intense rivalry of the “Backyard Brawl” between the Pittsburgh Panthers and West Virginia Mountaineers from September 1. These items are available on Upper Deck’s website.
“I’m thrilled to partner with Upper Deck and offer unique collectibles to fans in Pittsburgh,” Slovis stated.
Slovis previously played for three seasons at the University of Southern California, leading the Trojans to the 2019 Holiday Bowl and earning All-Pac-12 honors in 2020. In his first season with the Panthers, he won seven out of 11 games, throwing 10 touchdowns and nine interceptions, helping Pittsburgh finish the regular season 8-4.
According to NFLDraftBuzz.com, Slovis is ranked as the 24th quarterback in the 2023 NFL Draft.
“We are always looking to add the brightest rising stars in sports to our roster, and Kedon’s exclusive partnership with our UDA collection lets us provide his expanding fan base with authentic, one-of-a-kind memorabilia,” said Gabriel Garcia, Director of Upper Deck Authenticated.
