Miami Hurricanes safety Jaden Harris transferred to the Georgia Bulldogs on Jan. 6th. The decision was announced via On3.
Harris played high school football at Riverwood High School in Atlanta, Georgia, before the 2022 three-star recruit signed with the Hurricanes.
From the end of 2023, he’s been the Miami’s starting safety. He had a PFF grade of 57.5 (premium subscription needed) and allowed a passer rating of 89.4 when guarding receivers.
This is Georgia’s third transfer portal addition for the secondary. The Bulldogs added USC safety Zion Branch a few days ago and UAB transfer Adrian Maddox. Once again, the Bulldogs are adding a transfer portal addition that went to high school in Georgia. Harris is looking to make an immediate impact with the Bulldogs and will face significant competition for a starting role.
