Harley Davidson Man seriously injured in semi crash

 A Morley man is seriously injured following a crash involving a motorcycle and a semi that occurred in Scott County, Missouri.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crash Reports, the crash took place at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 28. Both vehicles were southbound on US Highway 61 at Park Road, one and a half miles north of Morley.

The crash occurred as a 1999 Harley Davidson was passing a 2000 Freightliner. As the motorcycle was passing, the Freightliner turned into the path of the Harley Davidson.

The driver of the Harley Davidson was identified as 66-year-old Dave E. Roseland of Morley. Roseland was taken by EMS to St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau to be treated for serious injuries.

According to the MSHP, Roseland was not wearing a safety device at the time of the crash.
