A lightbox from Pinewood Studios’ famous 007 stage – where 22 of the 24 James Bond films were shot – is going under the hammer.
The piece of movie history is now going on auction at Surrey-based house Ewbank’s, with a starting bid of £1,000.
A spokesperson for the auctioneer said: “The sign is among numerous highlights in Ewbank’s latest specialist 007 auction.
“The house has been running dedicated Bond sales for years – they recently sold a substantial part of the collection of Steve Oxenrider, arguably the world’s leading Bond collector.”
The 007 sign will go on auction on September 12 and is expected to sell for between £2,000 and £3,000. Live online bids can be made at www.ewbankauctions.co.uk.
