Cincinnati Reds’ Gavin Lux hasn’t been getting attention as much as bigger names like that of Elly De La Cruz or Matt McLain. However, Lux’s ability to play many positions will make him a key player for the team in the 2025 season. Lux brings his valuable experience from the Los Angeles Dodgers where he was for six years, when they won a championship.
Reds’ manager Terry Francona says Gavin Lux’s flexibility strengthens the team
For Cincinnati Reds’ manager Terry Francona, it is Gavin Lux’s flexibility that will help in strengthening the team. He says:
“If we have some flexibility, it can lengthen out your lineup. You can get a platoon advantage more often than not. Lux has been really good, like I told him last week. Let me know when you’re ready to go to the outfield. He came in a day later and says ‘put me out there.'”
