With the St Mirren clash at Ibrox on 22 February, the Englishman is not expected to be available.
Speaking about this situation, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, exclusively told Ibrox News:
“Sounds like it’s a combination of some misfortune with knocks and then some injury cycles with losing fitness which leads to increased risk.
“The club also don’t have many other options at his position which can naturally lead to rushing back.
“Not saying that he was or wasn’t, just that it’s a natural inclination.
“If the return to training timeline holds, I’d expect him to make his first team return come the end of February so he’s likely to miss the next one as well, unfortunately.“

Dujon Sterling may not have a future at Ibrox
It makes sense for the Ibrox outfit to consider life without Sterling ahead of the 2025/26 season.
As Dr Brar has mentioned, he has struggled to keep himself fit and has been a liability for the club – something they can ill afford.
His contract runs out in 2027 so if they are to put him on the market in the summer, they can get a decent fee for him.
Whether or not there is an adequate interest in him, remains to be seen.
