Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look at five of their articles from the past week.
The View from VT: December 21st, 2024
1) Vikings’ Most Probable Playoff Opponent Has Changed: So much is going to depend on just how hot these Vikings really are. Can Sam Darnold, Justin Jefferson, and the rest of the crew put together three more wins? If so, the season will end on a ten-game win streak and likely the top spot in the conference.
2) Vikings Final Injury Report is Different than Last Week: The health of the roster is one of the main things fans are monitoring. Getting Stephon Gilmore back will be a major boost but there are other notable players working through injuries.
3) NFL Insider Delivers Kirk Cousins Bombshell: Is Michael Penix Jr. a better quarterback than Kirk Cousins? Is Cousins done in Atlanta? If so, what’s the exit strategy? These are just some of the questions that are now swirling around the Falcons due to the recent benching of Mr. Cousins.
4) Vikings Could Have Chance to Add Massive Roster Upgrade: Would be a huge get for the defense, fortifying perhaps the shakiest position. Calais Campbell is an excellent leader and an excellent football player. The hope from Vikings fans should be that the Dolphins lose and that somehow Minnesota gets Campbell to call the Twin Cities home.
5) Vikings Vindicated After NFL Shockwave: In some ways, yes. Minnesota made the right call when they opted against paying a boatload to Cousins in favor of a mere pittance (relatively speaking) for Sam Darnold. The question, though: would Cousins be playing top-tier football if he was still in the Kevin O’Connell offense?
Enjoy the extra reading, Vikings fans.
