Macklin Celebrini, the San Jose Sharks’ outstanding player, is becoming so well-known that little children are being detained because they want to touch a piece of the newest prodigy in the National Hockey League.
A recent study published in Ontario found that a teenager was detained after attempting to steal a very pricey hockey card with Celebrini. According to the report, the adolescent reacted to a Facebook Marketplace advertisement earlier this week about the card, but he never intended to buy it. Instead, he waited for the seller to get sidetracked before snatching the card and attempting to leave on foot.
Thanks to surveillance footage and a later inquiry, the police had little trouble finding the youngster, ultimately knocking on his house door only for him to open it while wearing the same attire he is said to have worn during the theft.
Even if it doesn’t appear to be a major offense on the surface, the youngster may find himself in significant difficulty given the worth of some of these cards among collectors. Even though no more details were released due to the alleged offender’s age, the adolescent has been accused of stealing more than $5,000.
Law enforcement was able to retrieve the stolen card, ensuring Macklin Celebrini is once again back in good hands, indicating a happy ending.
