Barco’s 2026 Season
Regarding Barco, he appeared in two games for the Pirates last season, making his MLB debut and recording a 1-0 record with a 0.00 ERA over three innings pitched.
Barco has appeared six times this season, striking out 10 batters and allowing 12 earned runs in 14.2 innings.
Considering the Pirates
Pittsburgh was once a strong contender for the National League playoffs, but a combination of poor performance and injuries have caused them to fall in the rankings before Sunday.
They are 60-65 overall, putting them in last place in the NL Central and 6.5 games behind a Wild Card slot.
