After a very frightening summer for Max Domi, a Maple Leafs player, there is some significant news.
There was a huge display of love and support for Max Domi, a forward for the Toronto Maple Leafs, earlier this summer when reports indicated that Domi was having trouble walking after back surgery, even though he plays for a team that many National Hockey League fans enjoy supporting. The Domi name is so highly respected in the sport of hockey, and Max himself has earned so much respect as a fierce competitor who has overcome a major health obstacle in diabetes and is able to play at the highest level of hockey.
We received a fantastic indication that Domi may actually be on the mend on Sunday when he posted an update to his Instagram account that makes it evident that he is about to embark on the next chapter of his life. There is no doubt as to what the caption represents in light of the image that accompanied it, even if it simply reads “I love you very much.”
I’m sure you can figure out the rest from the image, which shows Domi’s longtime partner Estelle proudly sporting a ring on her finger.
As it happens, Estelle made the announcement herself on her own Instagram page, and the proposal occurred on Estelle’s birthday.
Several sports personalities and NHL players have also congratulated Domi on the good news.
