The New York Rangers are not going to be happy with Dylan Larkin’s leaked trade list.
Early in the season, a lot of eyes are on the New York Rangers.
It will be fascinating to see if they can maintain their hot start without their star goalie, Igor Shesterkin, who sustained a season-ending lower-body injury. Although Dylan Garand has performed admirably in his position thus far, the Rangers now have a special chance to expand their roster.
Cap space is being made available as Shesterkin has been placed on the IR. New York is already scouting several goalies and may use the money to get another one to go along with Garand. Alternatively, they may search for a skater to improve the squad, as their depth in the center is still in doubt.
Dylan Larkin is another athlete who has been extensively mentioned, despite the fact that Connor Hellebuyck has ruled trade rumors. According to Max Bultman and Pierre LeBrun of The Athletic (subscription required), his recently expanded trade list has been leaked, and the Rangers are not on it. That’s terrible news for the squad for several reasons.
The list of Dylan Larkin trades is far from perfect for the Rangers.
